Should be mandatory reading
by Brad
Finstad (MN State Representative)
Thanks for opening my eyes
and my mind to your book. Very rarely do I read a book and it
immediately has an effect on my life. I have used the books tips
both personally and professionally and they work, but more
importantly the overall theme of this book is a winning theme that
all should try to live their life by. This should be mandatory
reading for high-school and college business courses!!
Awesome

I
think the messages in 60-40 Or Fight are AWESOME. Mr. Christensen
has a knack of "telling it like it is." I had a successful book
signing for him in my store and have the book available
for sale. Comments from those who have purchased the book are very
favorable.

Surprisingly easy to read, I couldn't put 60-40 Or Fight down while on
an international flight. Each chapter contains just the right amount of
humor and very frank talk. This book could be easily be used in any
management course or HR training program. I plan to buy a copy for each
of my four adult children so they can use it for their relationships and
jobs. 60-40 Or Fight would make a great gift or read for anyone in a
relationship - yes that means you!

One of the Best Books I have ever read

I bought several of the books to give away at a recent Telecom
technology and marketing symposium. My intention was to give one away at
each break, reception, breakfast and lunch. But there was so much
interest that I decided to add 24 copies to my original order to be able
to give a copy to everyone interested. 60-40 Or Fight is one of the best
books I have ever read.

Excellent Communication Advice
I have read many writings of Everett M. Christensen, and find 60-40 Or
Fight to be his finest literary achievement. The Postulates are great,
and I especially loved the poem he wrote for his daughter's 14th
birthday.

A well needed read in today's hectic world.

Everett Christensen's book should be required reading for all. His
experience on the topic of relationships is both maddening and
comforting. I grew to love one particular section on TIME and how to
effectively use it. As a fifth grade teacher there never seems to be
enough of it and his take on "Planning and prioritizing" sat very well
with me. Thank you.

Real life advice.
I'm usually happy if I can find one good reason to read a book. In the
case of 60-40 or Fight there are three. The most significant is the
material presented throughout the book. Unlike most books that deal with
communications written in recent years that are built around feel-good
philosophies, there is no fluff here. Christensen deals with issues
in-depth, and isn't afraid to use his 45 years of experience to deal
with reality. For those responsible for developing personnel, the
Addenda Exercises are the second reason. The basis for teaching a class
or leading a seminar are presented at the back of the book. Lastly, for
those just searching for some entertainment, the twenty-five
"Christensen Postulates" presented at the beginning of book are not just
entertaining, many will leave you smiling. If you happen to be in H.R.,
this book would make a great gift for all of your new employees. |
